Fields of the Fatherless

We flew out of Ethiopia early July with heavy hearts knowing it may be some time before we get to see those wonderful people again. As we left the country a friend of ours was heading in. You see Mikah is 1 of the 4.7 million children in Ethiopia living without parents. Sure we can feel bad all we want or we can even say these kids are not our problem, some might even be as ignorant to say they are not ours. The fact of the matter is these little kids from the smallest to the oldest are our problem. For if our society fails to care for the children of this world then we have failed. Below are some pictures from Jen's journey..... of change, of hope, the one that we are all called to walk. At the bottom is a link to the organization Jen traveled with. Get involved, buy a shirt, sponsor a child, maybe even be bold enough to say yes and travel over and hold a kid in your arms and tell them they are loved.
