Yesterday was incredible Millennium smile and laugh lights up the room. We found out she is not as shy as we thought she might be. She loves passing a ball, walking around, and she loves her mom. She thinks her dad is funny but is not sure about hugs and affection from pops just yet.
Sitting in the main play room yesterday Magan was holding one of the other kids while I was passing the ball with Millennium. She looked up at her mom and called out to her mommy...mommy....mommy it was something else. By the end of the time at the care center she was asleep in Magan's arms. Amazing....really something to see how fast she has made a connection with us.
Today we head south into the Omo river valley. We will overnight in the village that Millennium was brought into care. Pray for our safe travels. Hopefully we can post pictures of this little girls smile in a few days.

Amazing! How quickly she understands that her future rests with you two. It may take her alittle time to develop trust in a father-figure as this may be an unknown importance to her. God is certainly great!!!
Dear Ones,
This news is wonderful. It makes me just want to fall on my knees in praise to our Father. How awesome is it that she is already calling you Mommy...The Lord is so good. I think her being small will help her fit right in with her Mommy..and give lots of room to grow here at home.
She has probably had very little contact with men..but once she gets you MIke..watch out.
We love you both and can't wait until Friday.
Travel safe in His arms and her in your arms..home at last..

Beautiful! Be safe - Of course Millenium loves her momma :))) - Lisa :)
Okay, so I just got back from looking for a "patriotic" shirt for Noah for the weekend, and there was absolutely nothing for boys and tons of stuff for girls, so I bought Millie a 6/9 month little dress since the one we originally bought will be way too big....Can't believe you guys will be home friday! :)
Absolutely Amazing! What a wonderful journey! I cannot wait to see Millie and hear all about the trip. Have a wonderful time and be safe! Shanda
