The Big Day

We arrived in Ethiopia after a 24 hour plane trip. Waited through customs to find out we would not be staying at the hotel next to the care center. One thing is for sure about Ethiopia....expect the unexpected.

Not sure if we have processed mentally all that we have witnessed the last 48 hours. Hardships the people of Ethiopia live in are something that is heart breaking and make you want to cry all the time. At the same time the people have hearts of gold and love talking with you.

Okay now for the update on our meeting today. Millennium is more than we could have ever expected. She is really something. She already is falling in love with her mommy and well dad can get her to laugh but she it not really sure. We played with her and the other children today for a few hours. These kids are amazing all of them are just so lovely.

She is much smaller than we had thought. She is wearing 6-9 months and has little curls now in her hair. He eyelashes don't even seem real they are so perfect. She has a cure little smile.
